As you will no doubt know there are lots of alternative designs for the England flags.

Being so plain it does lend itself to additions in ways the US stars and stripes could never accomodate. Mainly the alternative designs have nothing more exciting than the word ENGLAND running through the cross but there are some others which do have merit.

As I have already mentioned these alternative designs do give the council the opportunity to claim they are an advert and order you to take them down.

England Two Lions Flag

The two lions flags seems quite popular, it features two lions and a St George shield as well as 'ENGLAND' in writing, just in case anyone should wonder which country it represents.

However I am not too sure of the chequered band around the flag.

England Rose Lion

This flags is sometimes called a charger of something similar. It is a bit of a mess showing the three lions shield of Richard II with a rose and what presumably is St George in the centre.

 Again it has 'England' written on it.
