After a spell of inactivity on the site I thought i would update it. The world cup is coming, time to get the flags out again this year. I might just keep them up from St George's day. I have added the facebook feed for the England Store who have nylon flags for under a tenner. Back soon |

It seems that the ban on drivers having theEngland flag on their number plates is over. We can now have the flag on the plate and not fail the MOT, thank to the Sun article below. PATRIOTIC drivers will be able to display the Union Flag or the St George’s Cross on their number plates from today. Until now they could only display the EU flag. Any others could have led to a fine or failure of an MoT. The new rules also allow motorists in Scotland and Wales to fly the Saltire or red dragon. Transport Secretary Geoff Hoon plans to fly a Union Flag on his ministerial car. He said: “I was determined to bring about this change in the law because national flags are a healthy expression of the pride we have in our country. “I hope many will celebrate their national identity by flying the flag.” |
